I get a lot of compliments on the way I draw muscular people. This works for more than just machines, if you trace something then it helps you learn how it FEELS to draw something accurately, which gives you the freedom to experiment, exaggerate, and stylize your art without sacrificing structure and recognizeability. I still can’t draw cars very well but a bit more about what they look like are embedded in my memory. The third, without looking at any photos or previous sketches. The second was traced from a photo of a car. The first sketch was from memory without looking at any photos of a car. Here’s an exercise! I cannot draw cars well. Thanks again and thanks for being such cool respondents in these so far~ The artist player one is also interesting with some of it’s questions and i’ve gotten feedback that it was really helpful to some thinking more about their own art so if you’d rather give more an artists’ opinion about games in that one, that’s cool too! The player on is much shorter than the previous two and is maybe more fun to fill out if you just play a lot of games. Would be cool to get more answes on player ones too! especially if you’ve played Visual Novels or dating sims, although not a requirement to fill them out. SO YEAH, um, if people are still curious about the other two forms beside the artist process one, feel free to answer those too. The paper is about the intersection between artist and player in a way so that’s why i’ve tried to be thorough with the questions and options, although admittedly, even after testing with other people first, some of the questions might be lacking in options….That’s why so many of them have the “other” option in the first place, in case people think of something I haven’t considered yet or has “fallen through the cracks” of my review with 1st testers… It’s important to me but I don’t want anyone else to stress out about it, so i hope people don’t feel like these are “quizzes” about what’s expected of them but just explorations of the different opinions from different artists and players so far. Yes, kind of! I think there are kind of enough answers on the artist form now but could be a few more on the game/player ones? i went over the responses tonight again and it’s been pretty amazing how fast the responses have grown!
